Experienced, highly trained and responsive vendors are critical to our success. We’ve developed a successful system to qualify, manage and measure the performance of our vendors. The three components of Emcon’s Vendor Management Process:

Qualification

  • Verified General Liability and Workers’ Compensation Insurance coverage.
  • Trade licensing (copy of license on file).
  • Pre-screen potential vendor’s references.
  • Master Services Agreement (MSA) is required.
  • Quantify competitive pricing.
  • Evaluate unique strengths and their fit in the Emcon team.

Management

  • Ongoing performance tracking.
  • Provide regular feedback.
  • Define and train on new processes.
  • Support vendor development to meet our client’s goals.

Metrics

  • Verify work quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Measure resolution time and other performance driven metrics.
  • Development of Vendor Scorecard to track performance.
  • Evaluate vendor attributes to create system that places the right vendor on the job.
